About the Author
Graham Hevey
There is zero AI used in my writing, all of which is a result of 17 years reading my daily Bible passages, which I cannot do without. It is my cure, my daily reprieve so to speak.
Presently I am enrolling at East London University to complete my PHD Doctorate in Spiritual Psychology. I have a BA Hons degree in Literature and Cultural Studies, which kick started my writing career. I have written for a monthly Christian Magazine and I have a self-published book on Amazon, which is called ‘Lost For Words, faith and the 12 step program’.
My journey for sobriety began many years ago when I travelled through varying psycho surgeries that countered anger management, alcoholism and other sicknesses that hindered my humanity making me the worse person on earth, or so I felt. It was in 2004, after completing the 12 step as set out in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, that sobriety got a grip on me. Following this, I joined a church and was baptised in summer of 2008 and have read my Bible almost every day since.
Searching through the intellectual annals of this world with university friends will certainly add credibility to my work. I will soon be a full-time writer with blogs, Face book pages, a Youtube channel and probably more. At the age of 65 perhaps I have had enough life experience to see the difference between atheism, drunkenness and Spiritual growth. With a good mix of culture, faith, and the real world, I would like to heighten my readers impulses to read more about what appears to be a parallel universe, one that runs alongside my old universe, or world if you want. To be sure, it is not in my past where my concerns lay but in what happens now, today, that will benefit my writings. As from today, I am now a full time Christian writer Amen.
My reader will be a fledgling Christian, or anyone struggling with “what’s the point” questions. My hope is to bring a lasting change in their lives. I hope to write words that sweeten the taste of life, without sugar coating too much, perhaps more savoury and long lasting like good food that will give strength to fill them up with a lasting peace. My true hope is of course that my reader finds faith in Jesus and can live by the streaming water fall of life in saturation of His word alone.
My book ‘Christian Recovery give us this day’ is complete with 55000 words. Graham Hevey
